Minerals

Goats have a high mineral requirement so will need a mineral block or some added minerals to their balanced diet. Depending on State and circumstance will depend on the best mineral for your herd.

We offer our goats Olssens Go- Block at all times as well as a loose mineral mix designed for horses and seaweed meal. These are kept in containers that are easy to clean and are kept dry and out of the weather. 

Do not use a sheep mineral for your goats. Sheep cannot have copper, but goats need quite a high level. If you feed them a sheep mineral you will also have to copper bolus as needed. We give our goats minerals with copper in them and also still need to copper bolus.

There are also other blocks from Olssens that are good for your goats.
